Zela Aviation had the distinct honor of hosting a special commemorative event on June 12th—a sit-down dinner—in celebration of the visit of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides. This meaningful occasion took place at the site of the historic Olympic B727-200 “Mount Olympus” aircraft, a symbol of Hellenic aviation heritage that Zela Aviation proudly restored and placed on Vouliagmenis Avenue in Athens. See below photos from the event.

The event was organized by Zela Aviation Chairman Mr. Andreas Christodoulides, in collaboration with the Municipality of Ellinikon–Argiroupoli and Mayor Mr. Giannis Konstantatos. During the evening, President Christodoulides was honored with the title of Honorary Citizen of Ellinikon–Argiroupoli, recognizing his significant contributions and the strong ties between Cyprus and Greece.
Zela Aviation extends its sincere thanks to the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Greece, Mr. Stavros Avgoustides, for his presence and continued support. We also warmly thank everyone who attended and supported this event, making it a memorable celebration further strengthening the strong bonds between Greece and Cyprus.
