Zela Aviation Athens office opened in September 2019 with a vision to enhance its strategic position, slightly postponed due to the occurred worldwide pandemic, only to come back stronger now that the world opens up and a new era starts for Aviation.

Andreas Christodoulides – Chairman
Mr. Andreas Christodoulides, Chairman and Founder of Zela Aviation, brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the aviation and brokering industry. Known for leading by example, he established Zela Aviation in 2006 with a vision to create a trusted and reliable ACMI and charter brokerage. Under his leadership, the company has consistently exceeded client expectations, delivering service and expertise to the highest standards.
Yiannis Christodoulides – Director
Yiannis, Director of Zela Jet, soon after graduating university in London went into the family business of private yachting as a chartering manager. During the pandemic, Yiannis saw a demand and growth of private jets in East Mediterranean region and founded the company Zela Jet. Zela Jet is newly established brand of a well-established brokerage firm Zela Aviation, focusing on the chartering of private jets and helicopters
Zenon Christodoulides – Director
Zenon, Director of Zela Aviation, joined the family business shortly after graduating from university in London. Driven by commitment, dedication, and a deep passion for commercial and private aviation, he has focused on expanding the domestic and global presence of both Zela Aviation and Zela Jet.
Markos Kallias – Head of ACMI
Markos joined Zela Aviation in November 2021 as Business Developer and ACMI executive. Markos is a graduate from the University of Leeds in Aviation Technology Management. He was living in the UK before moving to Greece to join Zela Aviation, where he gained experience while working for in customer service for Jet2, flight operations for Flightworx and also as a project coordinator for the Civil Aviation Authority focusing on Eurocontrol projects and airspace modernisation initiatives for the UK. His diverse background across operational and regulatory roles allows him to bring a well-rounded perspective to Zela Aviation’s commercial and ACMI activities. Markos in 2024 became head of ACMI for Zela Aviation.
Elena Tzannou – Area Manager Greece
Elena joined Zela Aviation on September 2019 as a Regional Manager and Head of Aircraft Sales. Elena has over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry and specializes in ACMI (WET) lease with long- and short-term chartering. Elena began her career in aviation from Virgin Atlantic Airlines, and then joined Axon Airlines, quickly evolving as Cabin Crew Manager. In 2004 she worked in the commercial department of Greek aviation brokerage company Κ&Κ Aviation Services, where she was Head of aircraft leasing and chartering between Greek and other European Airlines.
Evangelos Ignatiou – ACMI Sales Executive
Evangelos Ignatiou is a dynamic professional in Zela Aviation’s ACMI department. With his expertise and commitment, he joined the company in September 2022 coming from a strong background in the hospitality industry and later working in the aviation industry specializing in Sales and PR in Greece and abroad relations. He has been contributing significantly to Zela Aviation starting in Dry Lease department, the ACMI team, administration and was the lead project manager on both of our vintage airplanes displayed as murals in Athens. His passion for aviation and challenges, fuels his dedication to excellence in the industry.
Dillon O’Brien – ACMI Sales Consultant
Dillon joined Zela Aviation in September 2024 as ACMI executive and Sports charter consultant. Dillon graduated from Dublin City university with a BSc in Aviation Management. He had lived in Ireland, working for major European airlines like Ryanair and ASL Airlines in various operational and compliance roles before making the move to Zela last year. At Zela, Dillon has been an integral part of the ACMI department, managing a diverse portfolio of clients and suppliers supporting complex ACMI requirements across Europe and beyond.
Kostas Zoulias – Charter Sales Executive
Konstantinos has over 14 years of successful experience in the private aviation industry. His expertise spans managing private jet and helicopter sales and delivering exceptional client service. Since Zela Jet’s inception in November 2020, Konstantinos has been an integral part of Zela Jet and with Zela Aviation for charter flights, contributing to its growth and reputation in the industry. His dedication to excellence and professional approach ensure seamless and personalized travel experiences for clients worldwide. With a proven track record of success, Konstantinos remains committed to advancing private and commercial aviation services and sharing his extensive knowledge in this dynamic field.
Andriana Petraki – PA to Chairman
Andriana joined Zela’s Team in February 2025 as PA to Chairman. Andriana has 20 years of experience in working as a PA to C-Suite Management acting as the s first point of contact ,responsible for strategic & Key decisions, ensuring a smooth office operation.
Maria Gyftopoulou – Accountant
Maria Gyftopoulou has a 30-year career in accounting, financial & HR services. The last 15 years she has been serving companies in aviation industry as an inhouse or outsourcing accountant & has been working in a multinational environment with companies such as, Turkish Airlines, United Airlines, Olympic Air, Alitalia, Air Serbia, Air-Mediterranean, Tarom SA, Tunis Air, Czech Airlines. Her credentials include a Bachelor of Arts-Business Administration & she is an A’ Degree Tax/Accounting License holder.
